Escape to the trees and unwind by the water at this peaceful lakefront retreat on Cain Lake. Tucked between Bellingham and Mount Vernon, this cozy two-bedroom home is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking to recharge in nature.  
  
Start your day with coffee on the spacious deck surrounded by evergreens, head down the path to your private cedar sauna or take a paddleboard or kayak out on the calm, swimmable lake. Try your hand at fishing this stocked, non-motorized lake.  
  
In the evening, wind down around the gas fire pit under the stars.  
  
Inside, the home is bright, simple, and thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease. The open kitchen and living area make cooking and relaxing feel connected, and the main door opens to a covered and open deck, extending your living space into the forest.  
  
The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom includes a comfy double bed and a dedicated desk—great for remote work or school. You'll also find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a TV in the living room for cozy movie nights.  
  
When you’re ready to explore, head to Galbraith Mountain for world-class mountain biking and hiking, or take a quick drive to Alger Alp Trail for a quiet forest loop with peek-a-boo views. You’re less than 30 minutes to both Bellingham and Mount Vernon, with easy day trips to Mount Baker, Chuckanut Drive, the Canadian border and scenic coastal trails.

PNW Concierge is a professional vacation rental management company. We are available to help at any time but will not bother you!  
  
We suggest picking up groceries on your way to Cain Lake - once you get here, you won't want to leave! If you prefer to have your groceries, or something special in the house upon your arrival, guests may order concierge service as a separate amenity from this booking by contacting the host after booking or going to PNW Concierge on the internet. Other services and amenities are available as well, including during stay housekeeping, and a personal chef service!  
  
As a professionally managed property you will receive top notch service and communication. PNW Concierge has a team ready to assist you before and during your stay.  
  
We offer superior pre-stay information and services to ensure your vacation will be the best it can be! We prepare the home with you in mind, taking care of the cleaning and preparation so you don't have to worry about a thing. During your stay we are available to assist you with your questions about the house, the property and the surrounding area. Feel confident when you book with PNW Concierge!

A Rental Agreement regarding the home is required to be signed by the guest on the booking before the cancellation period ends. The agreement will be sent to you through the booking platform upon booking.  
The home is not child-proofed - there are no covers on the outlets, or locks on cabinets containing cleaning products, etc. You are responsible for taking precautions to keep your children safe.  
The property has easy access to the beach and the Cain Lake (body of water,) please keep your children within sight distance.  
In respect of our neighbors we ask for quiet time between 10pm and 8am. Please note that noise travels easily and far around water.  
Our good neighbor policy is in the documents we send prior to your arrival, please read and adhere to them.  
Only guests listed on the booking are permitted at the home unless prior approval by PNW Concierge (this includes both daytime and nighttime visitors.)  
  
Booking rates, fees and taxes are listed in USD.
