It is in a very quiet and mostly secluded location in the forest, which is what we were looking for....peace and quiet. It is somewhat far from big time amenities so I would recommend bringing some food and other necessities. One thing I want to mention is that there is not a curtain, shade, or blind in the entire house.....which has a lot of windows. So much to see and do in the area wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds here are stunning and is truly a special place. If you wanted to do nothing other than sit back, read a book, play some board games with the family and enjoy nature, then this is the spot for you too.
