« The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage. »

« Logement plus proche du gite que de l'appartement de ce que le prix et les photos laissent présager. Equipement minimaliste (pas d'évier dans le coin cuisine, il faut utiliser le lavabo dans la salle de bain) le soir, douche froide très désagréable après 3 minutes d'eau chaude, couvertures vieilles et ne semblant pas très nettes. Ces désagréments, certains pourront les occulter en appréciant plus la beauté des paysages et la gentillesse de l'hôte. »

« The location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect. A couple of suggestions but by no means a criticism - an additional light outside near the two stairs down would be helpful. It was hard to see and we tripped a couple of times. Wooden tongs for the toaster. « Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location. »

« We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. « My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again. »
