"A very nice place to stay while hiking the coast to Coast trail. Alex and Jacqueline were wonderful for our check-in and our breakfast in the morning.very personable and friendly. It was such a comfy room that it was a shame we didn't arrive earlier. We had a 16 mile day of hiking so we didn't get there until almost dark! Would highly recommend this as a stop. "

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Ellerbrook House. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. "Hit really lucky weather wise it was a beautiful weekend, B&B is in excellent location just a stones throw from Ambleside town we checked in efficiently with Jo who is really warm and welcoming - room was comfortable and well presented with everything we needed. Spent 2 lovely days around Ambleside with a great breakfast to set us up each day. Would recommend and return."

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

Wonderful stay

"Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Stayed for a couple of night's with my daughter for a local event. It was very comfortable and clean. Great location. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The leisure centre was great although only had time to pop in there once. Would definitely stay here again."
