"Staff was great but the pool area was moldy everywhere and pool wasn't working and either were jets in hot tub the room walls had paint peeling and cracking but overall it was good "

"Check in was easy. The room was clean, but even staying two nights, there was still no box of tissues filled in the holder. it was empty. The fridge in my room was quite loud as it cycled. The only other issue I had was on my first night the room was freezing. The room is large which is great, but the heater is by the front door and not strong enough to push air to the bed area and even then it cycled between warm and cool air. So first night was chilly. "

"There are shops and every kind of restaurant nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. I tried another motel just up the road and happily came back to Quality Inn. Housekeeping staff is prompt every morning. Their breakfast is great! I would recommend the Quality Inn of Clare to everyone."

"Parking was fine. Handicap parking wasn't enough but probably met minimum requirement. Bed height was terrible and we found out when we were checking out that they could be lowered. Never knew something like that was available. Very good breakfast. "

"Hotel is very dated, halls dark. Staff was nice. Suite layout was great. Biggest complaint was the strong smell of marijuana throughout the whole place. "

"Went with my parents and daughter to visit my oldest who lives in Big Rapids. It was perfect for us. Wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. I would love to stay in the summer. I bet it is beautiful. We had snow while we were there and Mike sent someone to shovel the walkway for us. He was very responsive when we had questions. Will definitely stay again when back in Big Rapids."

"We loved our quiet anniversary getaway here. The cottage was clean and well stocked - great wifi and hot water. The lake is gorgeous, we stayed in march so still iced over but we still loved spending the weekend under the stars and overlooking the beach. There's kayaks, a paddleboard, toys , the adorable tiki bar and fire pit and deck make it just a fantastic outdoor space.it was so peaceful and quiet and the fireplace is to die for. soft king bed, great bedding, comfy blankets and soft linens. The host was great, super fast communication and left the house warm for us and gave us firewood. We will be back and checking out the other cottage when it's warm outside. Thank you for sharing this cottage with us! "
