"This is the best Hampton Inn that we have stayed in years. Everything from the landscaping to the lobby, breakfast area and room was spotless and beautifully maintained. Staff was exceptional as well."
"Easy checkin process and friendly staff. Areas around back of hotel with dog poop stations. Easy parking. Hotel is being renovated and even the folks doing the renovations were very friendly to me while I went around them while they worked. They stopped doing updates by 6pm so it was not an issue."

"They must make it clearer how to get into the parking lot. I tried 3 tines before giving up and calling the front desk.Very poorly designed. Put up some clear signs for the entrance in. "

"We liked the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and that it was located in walking distance to the University for our daughter''s pre-graduation festivities."

"room was fine, just shades and no curtains, beds were comfortable, very clean. There just seemed to be a lot of age to property. Still hands down the Best Hotel in Wilkes-Barre"
"My husband and I did a short getaway and it was our first time here. We surprisingly were able to check in early which was great. Our king room with lake view was very clean, i didn't feel the need to sanitiize or wear flip flops in the shower as i do in other hotels. Room and view were beautiful and the bed was super comfy.
We never left the property and ate at several of the on-site dining options. The chinese food place was delicious. The Guy Fieri restaurant was great as well, we ate there for lunch and breakfast. Nachos were lacking and the Heuvos Rancheros i ordered for breakfast had way too much beans and rice, if we were home i would have taken it to go and made 2 or 3 burritos out of the excess for a later meal. Massive waste of food. We attempted to stop there before our trip home for a quick lunch however we waited to be seated for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from staff so we left.
The Buffet left much to be desired. The staff were mediocre at best and the young man who seated us tried to poke fun at me with my husband because i didnt know i was supposed to hand him a receipt. Food was cold, meat was dry and there were hardly any options that we wanted to eat. Waste of money and we were left hungry.
Small pizza place was great for cheap water bottles and we ordered a Margherita pizza which cooked fast and was delicious!
Casino was fun and never too crowded! There is a lot of smoke however. We will def be back soon"
