This is my 4th time staying here. I have now stayed in all three apartments and they were all amazing! Oglethorpe Lodge is in a great location. Walking distance to everything. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

I always stay here when visiting Savannah. Close to downtown and River Street. On site parking is great if you’re coming and going. Always clean and walkable to pretty much everything Historic Downtown has to offer.

I was in town for a week long conference. Oglethorpe Lodge was in a very convenient location and had everything needed for a stay that felt like home. The only drawback was the unit being a third floor walk-up. Other than that, everything was great! I would definitely stay here again!

This home is in the most ideal location for visiting Savannah. It has close location to the Riverfront and easily walkable to all the city parks. We walked Bull street to Forsyth park and back down Abercorn street back to Leopold’s Ice cream and made many stops in between and it was a great day of exploring. The home was spacious and comfortable for our needs. The home was more quiet than I expected it to be being that close to the River Street nightlife. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway

The Ogelthorpe Lodge was a perfect getaway as we celebrated our daughters SCAD graduation. It is central to everything downtown Savannah - Riverwalk, Drayton, Girl Scout Birthplace, restaurants, etc. The accommodation was up to date. The separate living room and large, full kitchen, two bathrooms, all made spending time with family practical. The AC worked which was also fantastic. Extra sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels as well as coffee, cream, and sugar were made available. Easy, simple check-in and personal parking space was a huge bonus! We LOVED our stay!

What's not to love?! Everything about this stay was fantastic. Location feels like a hidden gem next to my favorite restaurant (Treylor Park) while remaining directly in the epicenter of river street area. Very walkable, exceptionally clean, SUPER safe (locked gate, locked front door, locked room door), very thoughtful ammenties, and great communication. It made me want to buy an apartment just like it in Savannah - I could live there!

Great location to all attractions in downtown area. Trolley stop is right across the street and River street is 5mins walk. The Georgia Queen sunset cruise boat landing dock is also closeby, about 10 mins walking. Very convenient for first timers. Parking is easy and no extra cost.

Great location, well maintained, spacious bedrooms

Great location in the heart of Historic Savannah, just steps away from many restaurants, shops, tours, etc. East Bay Street is right outside your window and the river front/River Street is just a block away. The unit was very clean and well furnished, with easy access from the dedicated parking space and gated courtyard. The king and queen bedrooms were very large and comfortable. The living room was cozy with a sleeper sofa to accommodate extra guests. Overall, we enjoyed our quick visit to Savannah and the Oglethorpe Lodge.

Perfect location

Excellent stay. We wer on the second floor of the three flat building, a two bedroom two bath, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The apartment is well-kept and modern and lots of space. It is very convenient to many restaurants and tours as it is only two blocks from River Street. Will definitely stay here again.
