"This resort was absolutely beautiful, the staff were friendly & kind from the minute you get there and even till the last moments you are there leaving. The beach was my absolute favorite part of the property, the water was clearer than the pool, no exaggeration. I will like to make a comment on the food, I disliked every restaurant BUT the cafe/buffet. The cafe & buffet had a lot of good food & different variety. The “restaurants” I felt tried too hard to make up fancy menus and being from the USA I felt the food choices were a mess and not tasty at all. If you like seasoned food & and even cultured Hispanic food, ur cafe & buffet will be your fav choice of dining. If you are younger & looking for a turned up resort, with hip hop music or any kind of party music & feel, this isn’t the place for you. The music is very much elevator music & it’s more of a relaxing environment. Just something to keep in mind. However I loved my stay here & I would come again. "

"Very nice place and brilliant idea to have accommodations on Saona Island. Highly recommend. Not the Taj Mahal or a 5 star but what is? Clean and comfortable and the AC (mini split) works like a champ as does the ceiling fan and all electrical outlets. And the toilet works. Nice bed and bedding and great host. The area is rustic and bare bones but that is a charm too. Go eat where you see flamingos. Nice variety. Good folks and a throw back area to when life was slower and without screens running our lives. If you want an all inclusive easy peasy lifestyle this ain’t it. If you want to deplug from the matrix a day or two this is the place to do it. You will appreciate the things you that have more and want less the things you think you must have. Isn’t that the best place a vacation should get you to? "

"Place is close to Isla Saona excursions (2 blocks). Breakfast was advertised as continental but they great coffee, pan cakes, omelet, and ham and cheese sandwich. The staff at the hotel was super friendly"

"This is a wonderful and affordable place to stay in Bayahibe. I thought the room was lovely and the people who worked there were courteous and helpful. EXCEPT: they do not have enough staff. So, there is a wait to check in and check out. And, the breakfast does not start until 8 am, which meant that both mornings I was there, the breakfast I paid for was not available because my scuba began in Bayahibe at 8 am. "This was our second time in this hotel and again it didn't fail our expectations. From the check-in to the check-out, it was all a nice experience. All staff were pleasant and thoughtful. Still remember the smile, humbleness and helpfulness of Bienvenido in the main buffet. You can tell they have all been well trained. We were part of the ‘preferred club’ which gives you access to special areas with food, food and private beach area. We had a blast! "
