4/5 Good
"I've stayed here several times now over the last 30 years. There are better hotels around for sure but The Grand Margherita is consistently a good standard.
Try and get one of the newer refurbished rooms, my last stay was in one of the older rooms (8th floor) and it's sadly in need of some TLC. Still adequate but could do with updating"

"The mall attached isn’t the best one in the area but if you want to do sown shopping or kill time, it’s connected to the hotel. The prices are good! They have a train ride kids can do but no playground. The hotel was great. I wish it had a thicker blanket BUT that’s probably not something I would say when it’s hot. The breakfast was good with lots of food and drink options. Omg the menu food was delicious and we got in around midnight, but fortunately they’re open 24 hrs. It was exactly what we needed after a 7 hour delay in the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel. I travel with a 4 year old and we felt safe and comfortable. The gym was good too. "

"Deluxe room that we stayed in on 13 floor was spacious enough for 2 people and had nice river views of Kuching, also walk in shower But the wifi was non existent ( who wants to sit in the foyer to get a signal!!!) "
