This is a wonderful hotel for this price point. It's directly off Highway 1 and worked perfectly with our Pacific Coast Highway road trip itinerary. The room was clean and modern with new finishes. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot and cold options including freshly made waffles (that you easily make yourself). There's also a nice Starbucks basically right next door if you want a little extra treat. I would recommend this place if you want to stay just outside Santa Cruz and get a head start on your day driving down the coast. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was helpful but it seemed they were short staffed at the time of checking in because it took us at least 30 minutes to do so. There was a lot of people trying to check in and when we finally made it to the front desk we were told that there were no rooms available and we had to get in line again. Other than that it was a nice clean place and very accessible to the 1 highway.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to San Francisco. Upon arriving the man working the front desk was polite and got us checked into our room very quickly. The room was clean. It had a good sized bathroom. The AC worked great. Super comfy bed & pillows (and I am a very picky person when it comes to my bed and bedding). The breakfast was delicious. I love hotel eggs, but these were probably the best eggs I’ve ever had! We didn’t stay long enough to use the pool, but I did take a look and the pool room was clean and well maintained. My only complaint would be the washroom door stuck and was hard to open and close, but it’s such a small detail. I let the lady at the front desk know the next morning and she said they would send someone. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our room was really spacious. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast bar exceeded my expectations. They had an indoor pool that we didn't get to take advantage but it looked very inviting.
