"We had the most wonderful time here. We were greeted by the hosts, who were both very welcoming and showed us around in great detail. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the pool was cleaned daily. We really felt at home, we took great pleasure in using the BBQ in the evenings and enjoyed the warm evenings. Definitely going to be visiting again. "The accommodations were spacious and very comfortable for our family. Everything was within walking distance and we enjoyed our time there very much. We had several parking options nearby (paid or unpaid for a slight walk) and we also had access to a grocery store if we wanted to cook at home. "We echo all the good comments and give this place an A+ for location, cleanliness, elegance (ironed linens!!), and friendliness. We stayed here while "working from home", so not having WiFi was challenging... yet, the view, proximity to restaurants (and yet quiet setting), etc., more than made up for it. Not advisable for those who cannot/dislike walking uphill as it is a nice steep walk from the beach but... hey, a cardio workout is nice, especially when followed up by a shower... outdoors!...

"The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. "We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies.
