« The lodge was really cute, it has a warm feel and look to it. The pictures don’t do it justice; consider that they were taken at night so it looks dim, but in person it looks even better. The staff are helpful and sweet. And breakfast was a 10/10. As people of color too, my partner and I felt safe and welcome in the lodge, so would definitely recommend. »

« This is a great place to stay if you need an inexpensive room. Room was much larger than expected with even a water view. It had everything I needed except for WiFi. I was on the end which was very quiet, but unfortunately the WiFi worked only near the office. I’d stay again but would ask for a room next to the office. Easy to get to Proctor and Duluth from this location. »
