"Hi I checked in to this hotel but I did not lift the window shutter till later on in the day . I was shocked to see that I was living on a garage forecourt ! So I could not use the balcony or have the curtains open as people that were filling their cars with petrol could see ands practically walk into my room as it was on the ground floor it was Awful ! No staff at reception so u went for dinner and when I returned there was still no staff . I was tired so went to bed and left after breakfast...
"The staff at the front desk was very helpful; let me pay the following day after I had gone to a bank (hotel does not take credit cards) and ordered me a taxi for an early morning departure. My room was small but the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was large and also very clean. Lots of bath towels were provided. Several previous reviews mention noise, but I found it very quiet even on Easter Sunday. It is one block to a lovely, sandy beach and about 3 blocks to a...
"We stayed in this hotel in may 2018 and a review of that visit would have been extremely good. Our return was not so good because there was a change of restaurant staff with dropped standards The previous staff were always cheerful and had enough English (serving all nationalities) to make eating there very pleasant. This visit was not so good. We basically avoided eating there because the atmosphere was not the same.. We were also told there was no key for the room safe meaning we had to carry...
" This has been our 3rd stay at the hotel Lido. Personally my partner and myself Love it there for its convenience to the beach, restaurants and shops ect.. However it should be stressed to new visitors that the Lido like most hotels in the area is a 2 star hotel so don't expect 4 star decor also people new to the area should appreciate this is a working coastal town so don't expect the canary island experience.
In saying this for those looking for a Spanish experience and a Lovely beach holiday...

The Lido, although dated is spotlessly clean and well run with comfortable beds and decent sized bathrooms, bidet/shower ect.. Housekeeping do the rooms daily and towels and sheets the are changed regularly. The Lido offers breakfast for a great rate and overall we consider the hotel fantastic value for money and have already booked our next stay."
