"A beautiful and quiet place to stay with stunning views right from the windows. The shuttle bus took us into vernazza each morning and brought us back early each evening (taxi available after approx 7 pm if you miss the last shuttle). Julia was very responsive to communications. We had a lovely few days exploring the area. A perfect place to come back to for a restful retreat!!"

"This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. "Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"We loved everything about this lovely home from home. The location was perfect and so peaceful, the host met us nearby and explained everything fully. We loved sitting on the balcony at night with a nice wine, being entertained by the fireflies. I wish we had stayed longer, it was heartbreaking to leave. Highly recommend this magical place."

"This hotel is very convenient to the La Spezia train station at around 100 yards from the exit. If you are using La Spezia Sa hub to visit Cinque Terra and Pisa this hotel is perfectly located. You can walk too many restaurants but don’t have to lug your bags deep into the city upon arrival. We had a room with a king bed on the ground floor but it wasn’t noisy at all. The property has invested in very good windows to keep nose way down. Our room was very modern and clean and quite spacious....
