This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Ana was gracious and welcoming. Our room was immaculate and nicely appointed. Our breakfast was in a beautifully decorated room with delicious food, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and a delicious fruit salad.
This is a small, individually-run hotel. The staff we met only speak Spanish, which is fine--we got everything we needed. The rooms are all individually done like a B&B.
We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in the Loft which has an upstairs as the name suggests. I would not recommend this room for anyone with limited mobility who would plan to sleep in the upstairs. The stairs are very steep--not a problem for us but wanted to note for other travelers. The beds were comfy and shower had plenty of hot water.
The front desk is not manned 24/7. They explain to you how to let yourself in after hours and are available by phone if you have problems.
Breakfast the next morning was fantastic with great coffee!
If you need lots of large-hotel amenities, please don't stay here! This is a unique, small hotel in a beautiful setting.

About a 10 minute walk from main shops. Staff were very helpful. Room was a little tired.

Gaucho Getaway
The friendly staff person made horseback riding reservations. Spent a wonderful day on a ranch with a gaucho cowboy. We also attended a folk dance evening where locals were dancing traditional dances. This was not a tourist show, but authentic dance club keeping alive their traditions and having a great time doing it. Great food at a local Parilla.
Very accommodating staff, friendly
They let us stay in the lobby for two hours waiting in the warmth instead of us having to go and wait at the bus station
Wonderful place. The hotel has only about 6 rooms so it's quiet and quiant - more like a B&B. The hotel is nicely decorated with tile floors and old style furniture. There is a beautiful garden in back and nice places to sit and enjoy the outside and a glass of wine or whatever. It was a perfect getaway from Buenos Aires. We wished we would have been able to stay more than one night. The hotel owners were very accommodating and assisted us in planning our stay in the area.
This is a quaint family run posada in walking distance of downtown San Antonio; the proprietress is most accomodating and helpful with tourist information. The room and bath are rather rustic, but comfortable enough, with welcome air conditioning.
