We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stadtkrug. The location is excellent and very close to all sites of interest. The breakfast was excellent and the service equally excellent. Charming, very old building just across the river from the Alstadt. Updated bathrooms and high quality beds and bedding. Lovely breakfast, comfortable restaurant and very fun little bar. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable.

Stadtkrug was a wonderful hotel. The room was great, the beds comfortable, the staff so nice and attentive and the hotel was wonderfully situated. We ate at the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel one evening and the food was excellent. The one note I would make is that visitors need to be able to climb stairs to get into the lobby and we had to go down some stairs on our floor to get into our room. If stairs are a problem for a given guest then this, sadly, might not be the best choice for him/her. I look forward to staying at Stadtkrug again.
