The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms comfortable and stylish with a traditional colonial architecture of shiny dark wood and very high ceilings. Lots of other things like museums, more restaurants, cable cars etc are also walk away. The Pousada itself is small and cute with about less then 10 rooms, therefore, you get a more personalized service. It has breakfast available everyday for a very small fee and it is delivered to your room. Reagan one of the managers and Sandra one of the other staff members were absolutely amazing, helpful, friendly and always made sure to give us everything we needed. A localização é MUITO barulhenta, com música alta na rua que invade o quarto até 23h00 ou mais. E logo cedo você é acordado pela luz do sol, porque as cortinas não cobrem toda a janela. Para finalizar a falta de sono, a cama descrita como "queen" são duas camas de solteiro com dois colchões ruins e um vão no meio, péssimo para um casal. As such, the neighborhood could be loud at times, but the restaurants, the music clubs, the historic churches and monuments has no match in this state. The staff is very good and helpful.
