The host went above and beyond to be helpful and to make sure we enjoyed and made the most of our stay. The free transpiration pass that was included in our nightly rate allowed us to go up any tram, gondola or take any bus, anytime, as many times as we wanted to for free during our stay. This pass allowed us to enjoy all the Mountain View’s the Saas Valley has to offer. The breakfast selections were abundant, generous, and tasty…including homemade jams, yogurts and selections of cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh fruit salad and breads. An added bonus, Pension Heino is located a short walk off the main road which provides a wonderfully quiet experience. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Abschalten und Naturerlebnisse im Saaser Tal

Weilte während 5 Tagen in Saas Grund. Habe mich in der Pension sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber. Das Hotel liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom Zentrum, der Bergbahn und der Bushaltestelle entfernt. Aber nicht unmittelbar an der Hauptstrasse. Somit sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch besteht die Möglichkeit, zum unschlagbaren Preis von Fr. 25, das Abendessen vor Ort einzunehmen. Habe von dieser Möglichkeit natürlich Gebrauch gemacht. Und zwar jeden Tag. Als Alleinreisender kam ich dadurch in den Kontakt von weiteren Individualreisenden. Dies hat meinen Aufenthalt bereichert. Auch das Frühstück lässt, meines Erachtens, keine Wünsche offen. Im Weiteren besteht auch die Möglichkeit im Aufenthalts- und Fernsehraum sich einen Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten. Und zwar rund um die Uhr. Mit dem Aufenthalt erhält man zudem noch eine Gästekarte, mit welcher man die Bergbahnen und die Autobuslinien kostenlos nutzen kann. Schlicht grossartig. Empfehle die Unterkunft sehr, sehr gerne weiter. Habe mich vor Ort sehr wohl gefühlt. Nochmals vielen Dank für alles.

Pleasant stay

Two building hotel run by family. It has a nice 3 bed room roof top family section. Continental breakfast was included and the hotel provides bus tickets. It can take you to other villages. You can even walk to Hohsaas cable car for skiing.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Die Pension liegt mitten in Saas Grund, nahe an der Bushaltestelle. Ideal für Wanderungen im Saastal.

Fine Value in Saas-Grund

This pension is located in the less popular Saas-Grund area, but is convenient to the bus and the Hohsaas gondola. A stay here also includes breakfast and a "Bürger-Pass" card that covers all bus service above Saas Balen, as well as almost all lifts in the area. Rooms are quirky but comfy, the owner comes armed with lots of helpful advice and a dry sense of humor, and a nice buffet breakfast is included.
