"The Inn was very charming. The rooms as well as the lobby were very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The coffee in the lobby was not hot on at least two mornings. The restaurant and lounge was very nice and the food was wonderful; however, we were there over the weekend and it was not open until Tuesday evening. I would also like to see some brochures or some sort of literature available to guests on the Inn itself. For instance, how did it come to be, when was it built, who built it, what significance does it have to the city/county, etc."

"Just a little disappointed in the cleaning people for my room there was some type of debris on my carpet. The front desk was very helpful, but it never seemed to get resolved. I don’t think the cleaning lady actually had a vacuum to use. Also, during my stay, I don’t feel a tidied up as much as I should have Otherwise, the downstairs staff was absolutely exceptional Breakfast was expected same stuff you always get Could use some more parking but again you can’t do anything about that not the companies or the staff‘s fault"

"The lobby was open and well lighted. The clerk was very accommodating. We arrived early and went by to verify check in time which was 3:00 but she said they might have a room by 1:00. We went sightseeing and came back around 2:30 and they did have a room for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had several individual toiletries. The rooms opened inside a hallway which could have been better lighted but when we got there a housekeeping staff was vacuuming and the carpet was clean. The breakfast was spot on with a variety of breakfast foods including bacon!"

"Parking is limited in front and on the sides. Room in rear but cant use the door or it's broken. Have to walk around and the sidewalk doesn't go all the way around. Very inconvenient. No room service but has a bar? New clean place and rooms. But the elevators doors and panels are not wiped along the top. Was same prior visit a month ago. Over all great place with free breakfast"

"The house is tucked away in a quiet area on the lake away from the chaos and noise. There is a large outdoor table on the deck off the kitchen with an umbrella to have meals outside, and a screened in porch with a table, and seating area off the main bedroom. It was great for morning coffee, or late night conversations while the kids slept in the loft. There is a huge table in the dining room off the kitchen, so we were able to have all meals together. We had 4 adults and 8 kids ranging from 6 months to 10 years and everyone had a blast. All the kids slept together in the loft space and it was perfect for them. The fire pit if just off the house, so it has easy access for food and drinks and everything. The owner was great at communicating and got back to us quickly with any questions. We’ll likely book here again! I would bring ice, the freezer was slow to make it, just an FYI."

"A clean, nice place to stay with helpful staff, good breakfast (sausage and eggs, etc.). Air conditioning was moderate; it was off when we got there. Turned it on, went to dinner, and it was beginning to cool upon return. Didn't get really cool until midnight."
