You may check-in as early as 4 pm and must check out by 10 am. \- For your convenience, we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay. \- Please note that hot tubs take around 6 hours to heat up. So depending on what time the property was cleaned, your hot tub may not be hot upon arrival. \- Due to the rural location of this property, cell phone reception may occasionally be spotty. \- No RV or Trailer parking. \- Home is on the main channel of the lake with year around water access; however, the TVA controls the lake level, so there are times when the water level does not float to dock. Pictures reflect the lake on and off-season. Safe use of the water slide is dependent upon water levels and is generally closed for the season in mid-September. \- Guests are responsible for providing their own charcoal and gas for the water slide pump. \- Bring your boat! There is ample parking space for your boat trailer and a shared dock to launch from within a few minutes of the house. The boat can be tied up at our personal dock for the duration of your stay! \- The house sits on top of a ridgeline in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains overlooking Douglas lake. The lake frontage is to the east of the home. There is a walking/driving path (approx 800ft) that takes you to the lake where the dock and waterslide are located. At the dock, there is space to park two vehicles. Please see the associated map and photos in our listing for a visual depiction of the path! NOTE: It’s that time of year when Douglass Lake water levels start decreasing. \- You may not book if you live locally without asking for permission and letting us know why you need a place in town. \- By booking with us you agree to download our app to gain access to the property. \- No food or drink in the hot tub. \- Guests will be expected to clean up spills and messes that they make and throw all their trash in the trash can. Also, it will be the guest\`s responsibility to do the dishes before they leave. \- To protect the host and guest, we must verify all guests ahead of the stay. Please be aware: As a part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and pass through our guest portal. Although all of our properties are sprayed regularly by a professional pest control company, the city and park areas are not. During various times of the year, these insects may find their way into the property. By booking, you understand that is a possibility during your stay and understand that there will be no refunds related to bugs getting into the property.
