    Sneak away to this gorgeous cabin in the Upper Canyon area of Ruidoso, NM. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a pull out couch in the living room; plenty of room for 8 guests. Choose between 2 separate outside entertaining areas to kick back and relax. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the deck just outside the living room, or cozy up in the gazebo area surrounding the chiminea.
    A beautiful open concept kitchen and dining area welcomes you in as soon as you open the door. This fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place for you to grab a quick bite before heading out to explore for the day, or cooking dinner after a day out and about. When you’re ready to hit the hay, choose between 2 bedrooms upstairs or the 1 bedroom downstairs. Sleeping options include 1 queen bed, 2 king beds, or the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. All bedrooms have a TV if you prefer to snuggle up and watch a movie. There is also a TV in the common living area as well as in the dining room.
    Grab some of your barbeque favorites to throw on the gas grill for dinner, and pick a seat at the outdoor table to keep your grill master company. Enjoy the rest of the night by winding down in the 6 person hot tub and listening to the quiet sounds of the canyon.
    Only about 5 minutes to Midtown where you will find some of the best little boutique shopping and a few of our best bites to eat. If you prefer to spend your time exploring, there are hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails all around. During ski season, about a 15 minute drive will get you to the bottom of Ski Run Rd. Once there, it is a 12 mile trek up to Ski Apache. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking. If you are not the skiing or snowboarding type, the zipline is another great option. In under 10 minutes you could be trying your luck at the casino at Inn of the Mountain Gods, or just stop by to see the entertainment options for that night. There are plenty of golfing options if you’ve got a great swing, or take the kiddos down to FunTrackers or to our new Adventure Mountain Family fun center. Whatever your flavor, Ruidoso has something to offer you.

Great location but...

Enjoyed our stay, loved the hot tub and location! However there were a few things that would have made our stay better: extra toilet paper (instead of starter set), new pillows, and many light fixtures need new bulbs.

It was great for our family to be together and still have separate bedrooms. I loved that it had 2 king size beds. That is why I chose this one. The hot tub was not HOT which we loved. We actually got to enjoy it.

Overpriced, uncomfortable furnishings, very minimal amenities, no toiletries provided, no extra blankets and pillows provided, no board games or activities provided. Would not recommend this property. We needed up leaving early and glad other family member’s had to cancel due to lack of all of the above.

Upper canyon cabin

Our property was cute and perfect for our group. The kitchen was spacious which was nice as we did quite a bit of cooking over the holiday. We had some difficulty getting into the hot tub as it was locked and the combination was not listed anywhere in the informational notebook left by the property owner. We also had issue with the shower head in one of the showers and as a result had to share one shower between four adults and two kids for the entirety of our visit. We spoke to someone regarding the shower issue and we’re told someone would come fix it, but no one ever did.

Great times had by all

We planned a weekend away for our daughter and three of her friends as a mini bachelorette weekend . They arrived late Friday but truly enjoyed every thing this residence had to offer.
