The Lodge at Chalk Hill

"Overall our stay was very nice and we would return in the future if the opportunity arises. The room was very comfortable but the shower head should be upgraded, the drain cleared of its clog, and get thicker towels. Also, the lake could use some attention (maybe a pond/lake service) and adding a fountain for some visual interest would be a great addition."

"I stayed 2 nights in a clean, comfortable room. It was a good value for the money. I noticed the recently upgraded bathroom - 'love the large mirror! My only criticism is that the closet door needs repair. (It doesn't close tight and with the full size mirror on the front of it, reflects the outside lights at night when in bed.)"

"This motel makes The Best first impression! Many hotels have landscaping, but that is poorly maintained. Jefferson Hills Motel has beautiful landscaping, meticulously cared for. In addition, between every few rooms is a large pot with canna lilies and other flowers spilling over. Really lovely! Our room was small but clean. The bed was soo comfortable; even the pillows were just right—none of those overfilled pillows that push your head up. The only negative was that the bathroom did not have a towel rack of any kind, and the toilet did not have a lid so I was concerned that I was going to drop something down the toilet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"We loved the rustic decor and the facility was very clean. Comfortable beds and good hot water shower. The price was very reasonable, which included 1/2 price admission to the onsite zoo Animal Treasures which my 10 yr old grandson loved. The standard room is a little tight for four, but we spent all day outside. There is a small market for supplies just minutes away. Would highly recommend to others."
