"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

We had dinner in their restaurant and the food was remarkably good, topped only by extremely attentive and swift service. My husband used the gym, which is on the smaller side but brand new, Rooms are quiet, mattress was excellent and firm - we slept very well. Overall a superb hotel in the hills above the Rhine.
