We were quick in and out and really just needed comfortable beds, a cool room, showers and breakfast. All of these were wonderful. It’s in a cute neighborhood close to the river promenade/bikepath. Great dining within walking distance. Excellent beds, room temp, and stylish amenities. Loved the design. It being Mainz, birthplace of printing press the hotel decor references that in multiple subtle and stylish ways. Very cool hotel.

We stayed just one night during a driving trip, but the location was convenient, paid parking was available and staff was friendly with good English- quite nice when your German is not so good! We had a two bunk room, quite tiny by U.S. standards, but completely in line with European.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a great shower. The breakfast was good. Dinner was limited so we eat out at a very good Punjab restaurant a couple of minutes walk away.

Can’t go wrong with this hotel. I stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The room was pretty clean, staff were nice, water was hot and pressure was strong. Basically this hotel is exactly as advertised and I would definitely recommend it!

Great Hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff. We hired bikes from right outside the hotel and cycled down to the old town via the river, which was great fun. The breakfast is outstanding!

Very nice front desk people, very helpful. And the breakfast was great. Now the negative: The room was small and sparse - no shelves, drawers, and one small counter/desk. No extra pillow or blanket…and I don’t really like having to call and wait for housekeeping to bring things like that. The controls for lights, heat, blinds were extremely hard to navigate, no instructions at all just tiny icons that weren’t understandable. The shower sprays water all over the floor. The young woman at the food/drink counter during the day was quite unfriendly, not a hello, please or thank you.

I had a great stay,, the hotel is the perfect location with access to the river, amazing outdoor site, great restaurant, super clean and comfortable bed , so quiet and relaxing with a great tv channels , also an Arabic channels and that’s made me didn’t want to go out, the front desk were so friendly and welcoming , they have a parking garage and also a free street parking, I recommend this hotel

Good hotel in a nice location, walkable to the city center. Room is smaller than the ones we usually have in USA. Good breakfast. Early check in was available only with additional fee (10 euro per hour). We knew that we would arrive early and communicated with the hotel about early check in. We were told that it was possible if there are rooms available. Additional charge was not mentioned.
