Séjour de 5 nuits en août 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Cécile B., CHAMPCUEIL 14 avr. 2017 #### Emplacement idéal Nous sommes partis à six (deux couples et deux jeunes de 18 ans). l'appartement est très bien situé à quelques pas du colisée et avec station de métro à 10 minutes à peine de marche. La literie est excellente et l'appartement très bien équipé. Nous avons été pris en charge par Paolo qui est vraiment très efficace ; réservation taxi collectif aller et retour et explications sur place pour voir ce qui doit être vu ainsi que restos et glaciers. Nous sommes restés 5 jours pleins ce qui est déjà suffisant pour voir le principal. Beaucoup de restaurant à proximité de l'appartement ce qui est très appréciable après une journée bien remplie. En conclusion n'hésitez pas à venir à Rome et dans cet appartement vous ne le regretterez pas. ##### Cécile B. Entouré d'épiceries , vente de fruits , carrefour Market, mais aussi de petits restos italiens typiques sympas et pas chers , de Café . Only a couple minutes walk to the Colosseum, and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Host was super helpful, giving us tons of recommendations for places to eat, and things to see and do during our stay. Apartment was clean and organized upon arrival. Air conditioning worked well. Washer/dryer was a bit confusing to use, but we did end up getting clean clothes. Paolo was an amazing host and helped us out a great deal on our first trip to Rome! ##### Savanna V. Paolo was a fantastic host & very helpful. He helped our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 teens) get a ride from Roma Termini to the apartment since absolutely no one at the taxi stop wanted to help us because we had 5 pieces of luggage & 5 duffel bags. Word of advice: do not stress and take Paolo up on the offer to pick you up if you are a large family such as us. Paolo met us at the entrance and helped us with our bags. The apartment is comfortable & well appointed. The AC is powerful & kept the place nice & cool which was a welcome after exploring Rome in the heat. TV's in every room with multiple channels allowed for us to retreat & watch separate shows if we wanted. The beds were comfy & there are additional linens and pillows if needed. The washing machine was great since our total stay in Italy was 3 weeks and we had to refresh our clothes. Everyone uses a drying rack and its quite quick to dry items. The neighborhood is literally down the street from The Colosseum. That area is a madhouse of people but you are so close to so many historical places that it is mind blowing. Towards the end of our stay we started going to the righ out the door instead of left. You'll find a wonderful neighborhood with an Egyptian Obelisk & quaint bars & restaurants on Merulana street. Its a lovely tree-lined area & has a Conad grocery store with everything you need to make a great meal. Bus 85 passes right in front & can take you into the city center. Research it. ##### Rubi S. He let us check in early which was super helpful so we didn’t have to haul our bags around Rome all day. He gave us really good food recommendations, since he is a local, which ended up being the best restaurants we went to in Rome. The VRBO is in a really good location, about an 8 minute walk to the colloseum. I would definitely stay here again if I were to go back to Rome, I would recommend this home and host to anybody planning on traveling to Rome! ##### Kara d. Our stay in this apartment went very well. It was well located, safe, clean, contained everything we needed and worked very well for the five of us to rest after long days exploring this wonderful city. The floor was filthy with a sticky residue. The shower doors are broken. Even one of the flushing buttons on the toilet is broken. It still flushes but with the weaker flush. The air conditioner works but leaves the apartment feeling slightly damp. Everything feels wet. Towels sheets furniture. But the most upsetting thing to me is that the host asks for the tourist tax in CASH on the day of arrival. We have traveled Italy from one end to the other and this is the Only property where the tax was not included in the price. I blame VRBO for letting this happen as the whole point in booking through them is to avoid this type of thing. I reached out to them and was only able to avoid paying the additional fee in cash. VRBO invoiced me the day before I checked in. You think you are paid in full and ready to check in on your trip, think again. Don’t book through VRBO. ##### Amy M. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2024
