Four Points By Sheraton Peoria

10/10 Excellent

"When I arrived at the property there were 6 people in line. They were all yelling at the employee about being overbooked. The staff eventually had employees clean dirty rooms which took roughly 3 hours after 8pm for us to finally get checked in and get a room. We went to the room it smelled of mildew and was outdated but not bad. I went swimming and the pool area was completely out of towels and there were so many disgusting things in the pool. I will probably never stay here again due to the initial check in process."

"This hotel is good for the location-even if you don't gamble- it is near both highways to get into Peoria or Washington/Metamora/Eureka areas. It is a little tired though and could use some deep cleaning in the rooms. You can tell there are a few upgrades like shower walls, doors and fixtures, but then there is peeling paint and broken tiles. Overall the staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a great steakhouse and bar on the campus area and inside the hotel is a bar open on the weekends which is nice. Plenty of parking even with an event at the hotel. I do like that you have to have your key to gain access to elevator and rooms. I would stay here again if price was right."
