Checking in was a slow but simple enough process. The room is nothing special. There were few outlets in which to plug things in (we had to move a small desk in our room to find one). The showerhead in our shower would not stay up (the type that moves up and down the pole). Because of this, showering was a little frustrating. There was also a little bit of mold in the shower door. The hallways and rooms have several fragranced jars and plug ins making the smell almost unbearable if you’re sensitive to smells like that. The properly itself it just off the main road so it’s quite easy to walk to restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, etc. Lastly, if you use their shuttle driver, be prepared to pay more than what Orbitz says. At the time of this review, it says the shuttle is €20. The driver tried to charge us €30 for the 10 minute ride. The driver also showed up in his private car that was full of his own things so we had to cram our luggage in the front seat and the middle between us in the back. Thank goodness it was just the two of us. He was friendly, but if we’d known it was going to be such an inconvenience for him, we would have called a cab or used a ride share app which also would have been much cheaper.
