This charming apartment in the heart of Trastevere, Rome, is a delightful retreat that combines comfort and style. Nestled on the third floor (two and a half flights of stairs, no elevator) of a quaint building on Via Augusto Jandolo, the 50-square-meter space is characterised by a thoughtful decor. It features one bedroom and a living room with a double sofa-bed and is bright and spacious.

The bedroom is inviting and generously sized, with a king-size bed and a large closet. The living room is cozy and well-equipped with a double sofa-bed, a TV, and a window offering stunning panoramic views of Ancient Rome. The apartment also includes a spacious bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals after a day of exploring.

Located in the quiet, traffic-free streets of Trastevere, the apartment is ideally positioned between two picturesque ancient Roman squares: Piazza dei Mercanti and Piazza di Santa Cecilia. Situation idéale, rue un peu bruyante, presta un peu décevantes

La location dans le Trestavere était idéale pour nous. Ambiance de quartier très sympa, authentique, pas dans le tumulte des zones touristiques tout en tant à 15mn à pied du Capitole et du Forum. Par contre rue bruyante à cause des cafés fermant tard (samedi soir, de la musique et des conversations fortes jusqu'à 1h-2h du matin). Accueil un peu précipité mais l'essentiel était dit. + très apprécié : le petit-déjeuner offert tous les matins au café d'en bas (accueil pas très chaleureux au café, dommage) Points assez problématiques : - les draps sont trop petits (lits 160 cm et draps 180 cm, donc à deux, on est vite sans drap), pas de draps housses et comme les draps pour couvrir les matelas sont aussi petits, ils ne tiennent pas et on se retrouve sur l’alèse - draps et taies avec des trous (je pense qu'il faudrait les changer) - un coup de frais à faire dans la cuisine au niveau de l'évier, joints tout décollés Propreté +++ et c'est une priorité pour moi donc ces petits problèmes ne nous ont pas empêchés de profiter du séjour. Dernier point : terrasse non accessible directement depuis l'appartement, il faut monter un escalier en colimaçon très étroit en métal (pas accessible à tout le monde) dans le couloir de l'immeuble. Difficile d'y prendre des repas vu que c'est compliqué d'apporter tout le nécessaire.

Très bien

Appartement sympathique, intime, lumineux. Situé tout en haut, au 3è étage sans ascenseur, donc ne rien oublier quand on s'en va! Très bon séjour. Eva nous a gentiment permis de déposer et reprendre nos bagages sur le temps de midi. Etant avec un enfant, nous avons mangé tous les soirs chez nous (j'ai apprécié la présence des petits produits de base). Concernant Abritel, j'ai eu de la difficulté à contacter les hôtes via leur page internet qui n'était "pas disponible". Petit cornetto et capuccino au bar du coin offert tous les matins par Eva: une belle attention. J'espère y revenir en 2023! Thérèse et Anatole.

Bathroom needs extensive updates. Toilet leaked, shower has mold. Host declined a rebate for the inconvenience to us. Provided 1 bath towel pp for 12 day stay!Pillows and linens felt old and uncomfortable. Also 68 steps to climb to reach appt. Property states 2 1/2 flights. However the neighborhood is wonderful.

Eva and Alice were wonderful hosts and Rome is a gorgeous city. My partner and I came for a few days, and the apartment was centrally located, making for a walkable vacation. It was winter and chilly, and there were extra blankets in the apartment, making sleep cozy and warm. Large windows fill the space with light and an espresso machine make the mornings wonderful. Anytime I come to Rome, I am going to see if Alice and Eva can host me.

The place was clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen so that we could cook breakfast every day and eat in some nights. Having a washer was also great for a long stay! Eva was very helpful and scheduled a taxi to take us very early to the airport at the end of our visit. It was a perfect location for our interests.

The location is amazing! We loved the Trastevere area. The apartment served our needs well for our 3 day stay. Spacious, good storage. We loved the big open windows. We made good use of the washing machine. Check in was easy. When wi-fi didn’t work Alice worked to fix it. The only disappoint was the listing showed a bathtub and described the place as having a bathtub, but there is only a shower - and the shower has obviously been there a long time as mold has grown all around the doors. We were looking forward to a good soak after 3 weeks of travel. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The place is quaint and feels authentic. We would stay again and recommend it to others!

We liked the size of this apt since it was my wife and I staying in the bedroom and my friend from London slept on the sofa bed. The living room closed like a bedroom, so the division of space worked well. The kitchen was bigger than expected and well equipped. The AC takes a minute, but did a decent job if you leave it on awhile. It’s a bit from the heart of Trastevere, but right next to the Tiber for a nice walk. I prefer to be a little closer to the action- however there were some restaurants and bars below so you can enjoy the nightlife. I will say it got very loud in the bedroom, so we were happy we brought our sound machine. For me- I have back problems and arthritis, so the stairs were too much and we could all feel the springs in the bed. The owners are currently aware and I sincerely hope they order a memory foam bed. They said they would consider for the next guest.

I stayed in this property in June. It was a wonderful apartment. It was very clean, the AC worked great, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice, and it had the cutest kitchen! It is located in a great neighborhood in Rome and we walked everywhere. I can't say enough good things about this apartment! I would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect Neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, very spacious, and located in a charming, quiet neighborhood. There’s a convenient café right downstairs where we enjoyed free coffee and croissants each morning, thanks to the host’s thoughtful vouchers. The area is walkable to restaurants, nightlife, and close to taxi and bus stops. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful—she even let us drop off our bags early and check in ahead of schedule. Host can arrange transportation to and from the airport if needed! Highly recommend!

Great location in Rome

This was a great place to stay for location and access to great food and walking to all the sites in Rome. Eva helped us organise transport to and from the airport and was very helpful. The appartement was a great size for 2 adults. The small negatives are that the mattress is very old with spring and really needs to be changed. The constant noise from the street below with restaurants patios open late meant that we required ear plugs to sleep. Overall we would stay there again.

Beautiful Apartment and Great Location

Eva’s apartment is more beautiful and spacious than the photos show. A wonderful place to relax md unwind after a day of sightseeing. Believe me, the 60 steps from the front door to the apartment is worth it! My husband and I are 70 and we managed just fine. There are restaurants and a large grocery store within a 10 minute walk of the apartment, and we walked to all the sights and explored Rome every day. Eva was very communicative before we arrived, and was there to greet us. She also provided complimentary cappuccino and cornettos at the coffee shop downstairs, which we happily took advantage of a few times during the week we were there. We would gladly stay here again if we return to Rome.

Minutes from three bridges into the heart of Rome. Seconds from exceptional restaurants. Spacious and bright apartment was all we could ask for! A few things could use freshening up in the kitchen and bathroom, but otherwise a wonderful stay!

Everything was great EXCEPT the noise from the neighbor across the hall, and from the alleyway below. It's not something the host can control, but something to be aware of of your sensitive to noise while trying to sleep.

Very nice place with great location!

The owner and her helper, Monica, were both amazing with their communication! They arranged transportation from the airport right to the door of the apartment! We really enjoyed the complementary breakfast every morning at the quaint bakery below the unit! Thank you!

Not suitable for a family of 4 with two teens (girl and boy teens)

It is advertised for 4 people but then when we said we are a family of four (two teens) the host charged us an extra 180euros because we were 4 people!!?? WE Did not understand the extra charge. Not at all suitable for 4 people specially if you have a boy and a girl teen. There is some kind of black mold around the kitchen sink and around the shower area. Location of the apartment is very good near a lot of restaurants and places to visit. If you like the Sunday market is only 10 minutes walking distance.

Nice apartment - close to everything!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. This apartment is centrally located. It’s an easy walk to all the sights or the bus stop is just down the street. The small kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook meals. The beds were comfortable. The main bedroom has a queen-sized mattress and the pull-out sofa was comfortable for my 20 year-old son. There are many delightful dining choices in the neighborhood - we particularly enjoyed the coffee and pastries at the “404” just below the apartment. Be warned - this apartment is on a very narrow street in an active city neighborhood. Watch for cars when you step out the front door and it can be a bit noisy at night. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderful neighborhood; comfortable home

The apartment was exactly as advertised: spacious, clean, convenient and charming location. The breakfast every morning at the nearby cafe being included in the rate really added to the charm. The apartment is comfortable, but you can hear noisy tourists on the street. It would be great if there was new hot water pot and coffee maker and if the latches that hold the shutters open were fixed so that they would not bang in the wind.
