"A friend and I traveled from the East Coast to view the April 2024 solar eclipse, and we stayed here two nights. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews, because our experience was outstanding. The property was neat, clean, and quiet (for the most part). Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very polite. We had plenty of water pressure, hot water, and clean towels. The "breakfast" is really just self-serve snacks, but tasty and adequate. The only problem we had was a small dog that yapped continuously for over an hour on the night we arrived. When we called the front desk to complain we were told that they couldn't do anything about it. (?!) Fortunately, the dog's owners finally returned to their room and quiet returned to the hotel. No more problems the rest of our stay. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if returning to the area."
