"Perfect location for Porcupine Mountain base camp. Modern two bed, two bath with gas fireplace. Excellent kitchen for cooking. 10 minutes from Porkies. 25 minutes from Lake of the Clouds. Enjoyed beach, windy waves on Lake Superior, and the warmth and thoughtful design of the home."

"Loved the location, just a mile outside the Porkies, beach access across the street. Nice outside area to relax that included a firepit. Very basic continental breakfast, nothing fancy. Appreciated the Keurig coffee dispenser. Interior was very clean, it was obvious the owners are giving the place TLC as it is older. Would recommend to others."

"Great facility! Waterfront on Superior is excellent. Staff was great, having a restaurant on site was a huge plus. Beds were hard but that is a personal preference."

"Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. That night they had a cookout for the the guests of the motel. Later they had a camp fire for anyone to sit by. Across the road was a path to walk to Lake Superior. It is an older motel but very well maintained. Our room was very clean. Enjoyed our stay."
