This 1st floor newly painted unit features a living/dining room area, master bedroom with king size bed, and a full bath. There is a full kitchen and a den with office and sitting area. There is a covered carport for parking. This quaint community offers many local restaurants, the historic Grandin Theatre, Black Dog Salvage, Roanoke River Greenway - all within walking distance. The space Windsor Lofts is located in a historic building in the Grandin Court area. Like many of the buildings near by, Windsor Lofts, has a historical charm to it, with a modern twist to its furnishings. Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note This is a four unit apartment building. Please be considerate of other guests that are staying with us. There were some lovely older homes with beautiful Christmas lights. The host was very helpful in our communications. It was very clean which is my number one priority so I was pleased with that. There were many things that suggested a lot of thought went into providing what guests would need and the Christmas decorations on the doors were a nice touch. It was very close to the hospital where we were visiting our son. There were a couple of things that could be done differently. There was not enough light in the bedroom and in the living area and the dining room light was not working. The other thing that bothered me was there was not a secure lock on the back door, just a little chain. These are things that could be improved. Not as easy to remedy is the bathroom. As I am sure you are aware, there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer or curling iron and not much light in there as well for applying makeup. One thing that could be helpful is a non-slip mat in the tub, Especially a concern for those of us who are seniors. ##### Jean A.
