Absolutely excellent. Super staff, great breakfast, spacious bedroom, large plasma TV, and close proximity to the local town.

Superb hotel.
Absolutely superb stay here. This hotel has recently been refurbished & it’s been done to the highest standard in keeping with the elegant style of the building. Excellent room, good bathroom, a great night sleep .

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Room was warm, clean and very nice bathroom. The room did look onto the road which was noisy throughout the day and night.

Absolutely fantastic effort made to create festive feel. Staff went out of there way to help the children when selecting there breakfast.

I did not like the restaurant being part of the public bar area. We booked a table and when we arrived people were using our table as part of the drinking area and had to be moved. We could not enjoy our meal because of the noise and disruption you can expect from a public bar although the food and service were good. Dogs were also allowed in the restaurant/bar and we found that to be rather unhygienic and not what we have come to expect from properties recommended by Hotels.com

The Ripon Inn was a fantastic choice for our visit to Ripon, the hotel has great ambiance is spacious, and the room’s and facilities are immaculately turned out having been recently refurbished, the decor is really stylish both in the public areas and rooms, we didn’t have an evening meal but they looked delicious, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of good quality food, as someone who works away and stays in a lot of hotels the Ripon Inn is right up there with the best in both presentation and service we would definitely recommend and we’ll be back.

Good but could be better
The good: hotel and location. Bar was nice and food was good. Room was great. Bad; made everyone wait till 3 for check in which made a long wait and seemed disorganised. Hotel and bar was too hot, staff serving food was sweating. Breakfast was a shambles, no coffee, no cups , very little on hot plate and no one seemed to be in a hurry to restock, we did eat at 0930 and it finished at 10 but still very poor service

Lovely hotel
This is a lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and looked super festive. It is suffering from a few teething problems after just re-opening tho which didn’t spoil our stay.

Lovely hotel all be it a few teething problems
We stayed at the this hotel years ago so the improvement is excellent. Very nicely done. Rooms are lovely and spacious. The location is excellent for Ripon centre. I believe the hotel only opened recently so I understand there would be teething problems. The staff were very friendly but seemed to be a bit lost at times. No reservations for dinner which could have caused problems as with my elderly parents, and all area's were extremely busy. Breakfast could be a tad later as finished at 9.30am, especially on a weekend. And not something I would normally mention but the pillows were extremely high, didn't get a brilliant sleep. Overall, a lovely stay just need a few things be tweaked. Thanks

Great place
Booked this hotel at the last minute during a long drive home. Staff were very friendly throughout the stay, brand new hotel so everything was clean and spotless. Rooms were fitted out with comfortable bed and a good shower. Interior was finished to a high standard. Breakfast was very tasty too. I'll be back! Ripon is a lovely place to visit in the Yorkshire Dales with lots to see and do clsoe by.
