It is an oasis of calm, surrounded by wonderful scenery (mountains and sea) and offers a great base for exploring the national parks of Majella and Gran Sasso or the coast and beaches north and south of Pescara. The villa is really well appointed with air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and there is a barbecue area, bicycles, a table tennis table and a wonderful swimming pool. "Eric and Rita’s house is perfectly situated in the historic center. Every floor has a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape with the mountains in the distance. Communication with our hosts was excellent. Loreto Aprutino is a lovely little, somewhat sleepy, medieval town. It gives visitors a perspective into small town life in Italy. "We would highly recommend this villa. We were a large family group of 23 and the villa and cottage had everything we could have wanted. The grounds and pool are well maintained and the view from the villa is stunning. Citta’ Sant’Angelo is a delightful hilltop town only a short distance away by car but some of our party did walk to the town. Piero and Letizia were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome."
