Beautiful View- Recommended
Absolutely stunning views- the listing photos are accurate. Yes, a bit of a hike up a steep incline (paved) and then steep stone steps and then more steps in the building but nothing that wasn’t manageable for us and we definitely agree that the little hike was worth it. We would recommend this place and would stay here again- Riomaggiore is absolutely beautiful and what a treat to see the homes across the way from this vacation spot light up at dusk!

Three windows show the view in the photos, possibly the best view in the Cinque Terre. The host was great. We accidentally left some items behind and they were great about getting us the items back. Only complaint was out stay wasn't longer. We would rate 100/10

Spectacular Views
The WOW factor here is the view from the windows of the apartment. The vistas are absolutely stunning! It’s a hike to get here, but more than worth it. The communication with management was helpful. Truly a vacation we will always treasure!

Beautiful view from the window of this apartment. We loved our stay here. It was nice to have a quiet and relaxing day at the end of our Italy trip. The property owner (manager?) was very communicative and made sure we had good instructions to find the apartment. It wasn't really hard to find but would be confusing if you didn't know where you were going. We appreciated all the detail to make it easy to find. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Did I say the view was amazing and beautiful?

The views from this property were gorgeous! It was a bit of challenge to get to so definitely consider if you will have large or heavy luggage. But we thought well worth it. The owner was very responsive and helpful in providing directions to the rental and check in instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

great location and view
nice quiet location just a short walk from the main street. beautiful views of the town and sea. in fact there were many tourists who walked up to see the same view of the town at a lookout nearby. the shower was tiny but perhaps that is to be expected. would stay here again!

AMAZING VIEWS
We were well rewarded for the little hike with our bags. Our perch above the town allowed us to enjoy not only the sights and sounds of Riomaggiore but also the beautiful Mediterranean and the sunsets were amazing. We found we enjoyed cooking in the little kitchen while watching the sun go down over this little piece of paradise.

Best view in Cinque Terre!
This apartment was perfect for our 4 night stay in Riomaggiore. It had the most phenomenal views, and the sunsets were spectacular. The aircon kept us very cool during the summer heatwave and was appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we cooked at home. It is indeed a bit tricky to get to but absolutely worth it once you arrive. The instructions given by the the hosts are very clear. Take the time to follow them and you should be fine! We would also recommend that you arrive with some water and snacks - so that you can have something refreshing as soon as you arrive. If you follow the instructions it’s a 10-15 minute walk uphill from the train station.. Pack lightly - you’ll be glad you did! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful anytime we needed to communicate. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay in Riomaggiore. The property is a bit off the beaten track, making it a little more difficult when arriving with your things, but it is well worth it for the spectacular views! The property was clean and comfortable and cool, which was much appreciated after a day in the sun. The property had everything we needed, including several thoughtful items such as an outlet converter (ours broke in transit). It was easy to communicate with our hosts via WhatsApp, and they responded quickly if we had a question. We would definitely recommend staying here - just be sure to pack light!

Fantastic views
This apartment has all the needed amentities including a washing machine. The views from all the windows is spectacular. Since it is high on the cliffs, there is a significant hill to climb from the central part of town. DO NOT use google maps to find the property, follow the instrucrion from the property manager.

The apartment has the most stunning view from all five windows as long as you direct your eyes to the coast. If you lower your eyes to the terrain below surrounding the property, you might want to burst into tears just like I almost did. The apartment was decently clean and the manager let me have two extra towels. However the entrance of the building and stairwell strongly smell like dump and badly need some good maintenance. In both nights I spent there, I still did not manage to find the right switch to turn on the entrance light despite touching all switches visible. The most disappointment was the garden surrounding the property including a veranda which view would score 5 stars in any world natural scenery contest. All grounds surrounding this building including the land below look abandoned, neglected, totally run down. Unfortunately the entire Cinqueterre are not only neglected but trashed to indecency.

Absolutely breathtaking.
The views here are the most beautiful I have ever seen. The apartment is perfect!!! Five windows overlook the town and coast below. The cool breeze and ocean sounds are so relaxing. This apartment would easily be $500 a night in America, if something like this even existed. Absolutely breathtaking.

Fabulous View
The view is like a scene from a movie! The walk up the hill is strenuous, but if you’re physically capable, it is absolutely worth it. My only suggestion to the host is that it would be nice to have a drying rack for days when one can’t hang laundry out on the line. If there was one there, we couldn’t find it.

BEST VIEWS in Riomaggiore! Management did a good job of setting up expectations and explicit directions, with frequent/appropriate communications. Be prepared for a long uphill walk.... a like challenging for 60+ year olds with luggage. Pack light! Totally worth the effort for the amazing experience in this magical town. Great view!
The view is INCREDIBLE! The location can be tricky to get to but their instructions are very easy to follow. The only problem was we had some leaking from the ceiling and the property managers were quick to get in touch with us but it continued and occurred in 3 different spots, including 2 over the bed. Because of the difficulty of location, they couldn’t get anyone out to fix during our stay so we had to move the mattress from the main bed to the pull out bed (very uncomfortable on its own). Because of the inconvenience we asked for a small refund but apparently the maintenance guy didn’t find any issues so no refund and extra work for us.

Fourth year in a row - still super!
We’ve been coming here now for four years and each time we fall in love with the area a little bit more. The apartment views are unmatched. We love falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and waking up to the 7 AM church bells. This is a hiking holiday for us and the apartment has everything we need for a week’s stay. Yes, the shower is tiny, but there is a lot of hot water. There are also a washing machine, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, and tv. They upgraded their WiFi this year, so it was quite fast. Pack light - did I mention the washing machine? - it is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and the ascent is equivalent to 13 storeys. Well worth it! Alessandra is a joy to work with and is very responsive. Hoping to make our way back in 2020!

Best view in the whole town!
A short walk from all the restaurants that Riomaggiore has to offer, but far enough to feel secluded and away from the crowds. I said over and over how this is the best view in the whole town. You get a 180 degree view of the ocean and some of the town as well (makes for great pictures). Nicer than expected on the inside and the bed was very comfortable.

My family and I loved our 3 night stay. The view is incredible and the apartment was clean, well equipped and perfect for travelling with our 3 year old. Quiet at night and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was heaven. You will not regret staying here!

Epic VIEW!
The view is 10 star. 180 of the sea. You could stay in the appt and hang out the window, but Cinque Terre is about walking and exploring... still how fantastic to wake up to this, or see it in the eve twilight. It's amazing. The town is so cute and away from the tourist mayhem in August when we were there. Area is quiet and AC works well. The arrival, stairs and hike up/down to the place is crazy. Travel light. Our legs are now toned. We felt like we were on a treasure hunt finding the place the first time (we did it in the dark! it would be better in the day as suggested, but we had no choice and it is possible to do, just difficult). The photos shown in the listing are OK but do not do the view justice. The place is bright and clean with 3 windows in the bedroom and one each in the kitchen and bath. I had trouble understanding the bed situation/rooms when booking, so here is a description: it is 3 rooms... bathroom; kitchen/eating area room (with sleep futon that can fold out); bedroom with 2 double beds in a large room with great views. Beds are divided by a see-through bookcase. We did not use the kitchen sleep sofa/bed/futon for sleeping, because if it was unfolded the door would not be usable from the bedroom to the bathroom at night, and the kitchen area table would need to be severely shoved aside. The tiny bathroom/laundry room, also had a view. The shower is like a broom closet, but it is possible, even for my 6'3" hubby. A shower caddy or tiny shelf is needed for supplies, as you can't bend down if the shampoo drops. But it was all fine for our family of 4... 2 adults, 2 teen kids. Wifi works well. Due to a power outage, management came out right away to reset. I suggest a small microwave to be added to the kitchen, as currently there is none which I found odd. Management was very prompt with responses, etc. and checking in with us to make sure all was fine. Very pleased for the price.

The apartment is tiny, only 40 sqmt, that's why the shower can't be larger. Anyway, as you say, it's cute, clean and with stunning views from all the windows. Thank you for your suggestion about the shower shelf: we will do it. As for the microwave, in Italy we use oven (the apartment is provided with one) more than microwave, but maybe also a microwave would be useful, as you suggest. When we forward instructions and pictures to reach the apartment, we always suggest to travel in the day, because reaching a place in Cinque Terre in the dark can be a bit challenging but you managed in the dark as well: bravi! Great views are the best feature. The apartment is just okay.
The views from the windows are amazing, but everything else was just okay. This one bedroom apartment had one comfortable bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed. The bathroom shower is too small and we ran out of toilet paper. We only received one towel each for three days, but there is a washing machine. I wouldn’t recommend opening the windows too much because there are a lot of bugs. The A/C worked well. The path to the apartment building is over grown with weeds and watch out for snakes. Luckily we saw it during the day. The people managing this property do a great job communicating but their office is not located near this property.

Beautiful Apartment in Riomaggiore!
This is a fabulous apartment! The view is amazing!! The people that own the apartment also own a hotel in Deiva Marina...they are very kind, helpful and gracious. The only downside is the hike to the apartment. It's not very long but you definitely need to be in good/decent shape to get there. The only recommendation that I have would be if instructions could be left in various languages on how to use the washing machine, what to do with the trash, etc. Other than that it was excellent!!

This is a hidden gem above the noise of town with great views of the village and sea! Open the windows at night for ocean noise and breezes! A/C works great in the heat of day. Super responsive owners made this a real pleasure. We will be coming back!

We enjoyed this little slice of heaven! The sunsets were breathtaking from every window and the views were breathtaking! The Mediterranean breeze and sound of the waves was so relaxing. The town was vibrant at night which you can hear from your apartment, but that is part of the Italian fun! Be prepared for some stairs to get to the apartment. I wish I could have stayed here longer and will definitely be back!

Stunning views, comfortable quarters, access a little challenging with luggage
There is no question - this is where you want to stay if you are looking for stunning views! The location of this apartment above the town with windows on both sides is the major attraction of this property. But be prepared for a challenge getting luggage to the apartment. If we had it to do again, we would stay here but engage a luggage delivery service. Overall the apartment is comfortable, with an air conditioner in the bedroom and windows with shutters for cross ventilation if you prefer open air. The furnishings are unpretentious and were adequate for us. I might have asked for a few more amenities in the kitchen ( such as a toaster) but it was manageable. I have to comment on the excellent communication and follow up of the staff at Clelia. They replied very promptly to my inquiries from reservation to checkout. This is really a great base from which to explore all the Cinque Terre.

We are very happy to know that you appreciated the beautiful sea view from the apartment's windows: from there you have stunning view on the sea, on Riomaggiore and on Via dell'Amore too! As you say, yes Cinque Terre are a bit challengin :-) Reaching the apartment from the train station it takes about 10/15 minutes on foot and it's a uphill road, that's why, when we forward the instructions to reach the apartment, we always suggest to bring light luggage. Anyway in Riomaggiore there is a guy with a piaggio apecar who could help with the luggage, if necessary. As for the kitchen, it's equipped with oven, stove, dish washer, caffettiera, plates, silver, pans etc; your opinion is important to us and yes you're right: a toaster would do! Thank you very much for letting us know: this way we have the chance to improve! Very happy that the communication between us worked well: thank you very much for letting us know! A rustic charmer with a million dollar view!
Loved this apartment! It had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The beds were relatively comfortable, although the shower was kind of tiny and cute. It was a couple of blocks off of the main street, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and helpful. Riomaggiore is one of the most beautiful spots in the world, and the view is special indeed!

Quaint, old world experience!
We loved our time in Cinque Terre! This rental in Riomaggiore had breathtaking views out every window! It is quiet, and away from the busy town center. You must be willing and able to walk to it’s unique location. It is not far away, but does involve steps and inclines. It was no problem for us, and most of Cinque Terre requires this kind of travel to get around the towns. Fantastic!
