When I booked the hotel, there were no clear photos or descriptions indicating that the property was actually a motel. This was disappointing, as I would not have chosen to stay here if that had been made clear. The stay itself was mostly fine, but cleanliness could be improved. I noticed a hair on the bathroom counter and a stain on the comforter, which made the room feel less well-maintained than expected. One positive note—although we missed breakfast, the front desk staff member was very kind and offered to get us items like muffins, bread, or a donut. That was appreciated and made a good impression. Overall, the experience was decent, but better transparency in the listing and more attention to cleanliness would make a big difference."

"It was a cool place...cabins and mitel rooms. We had two rooms, kitchenette and 2 TVs place looks a little rin down and no front desk staff."

"A beautiful old building with lovely, clean, comfortable rooms. The Dining Room and the bistro have excellent food, great vibe, great staff. The ideal location for exploring the San Luis Valley. I will definitely be back. "

"This cabin was cozy and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the various board game options and fully stocked kitchen. The location was also perfect for our ski trip. I would stay here again!"
