Confesso que quando fiz a reserva estava preocupada por causa de comentários anteriores. QUE MARAVILHOSA SURPRESA! O quarto é muito bom e extremamente confortável. Ficamos no 501. A vista também é linda. Pena que não pude ficar mais tempo.

Hotel decadente bem localizado.

Hotel decadente, com aspecto de hotel de alta rotatividade. Equipamentos velhos. Café da manhã sofrível. Vale mesmo só pela localização (de frente pros Jardins do Catete e bem próximo do aeroporto Santos Dumont) e por eventuais ofertas. O atendimento na recepção pelo menos foi sempre simpático.

I really liked the location and the service provided by the hotel staff, but it was a little annoying to know only at check in that there was no hot water and I thought it was a little bad that they took time to change the sheets in the room and remove the garbage. For breakfast you could have eggs, that would be great. But I liked the hotel.

Experiência horrível

A localização é boa , mas hotel nada bom . Pelo Preço imaginei que seria simples, mas é pior do que imaginei , o quarto é horrível , com cheiro ruim , tudo velho, o minibar não tem nada é muito sujo e a limpeza parece que n adianta por ser tudo velho . O elevador bem antigo mesmo , tem que tomar muito cuidado . Nunca mais voltarei

As paredes uma imundície a água quente não existe faz tempo. Tá na hora de fechar e reformar. Podiam pegar uma lava jato pra limpar as paredes dia corredores.....não volto

Péssima experiência!

Minha experiência com o Hotel Inglês foi a pior possível! Não tinha água quente e só avisaram quando cheguei. Reservei com foto de quarto de frente pro jardim do Palácio do Catete e me colocaram em um quarto q a janela dava pra parede do vão da casa ou do prédio vizinho, bem próxima. Disseram q se vagasse um quarto de frente poderia trocar no dia seguinte mas não foi verdade pois não há camareira aos domingos. Café da manhã muito simples com suco Tang. Consegui vaga em outro hotel e saí pra nunca mais voltar!

Excelente localização

Fiquei triste por saber que o hotel vai se transformar em prédio de apartamentos...Tem uma excelente localização, sou apaixonado pelo Catete. Acesso fácil ao metrô e ônibus. Não tem água quente, o café da manhã é bem básico, mas o custo é proporcional. Wi-fi razoável.

Decepcionado

Falta de água quente no chuveiro dos quartos, durante todo o período de acomodação, não fomos avisados com antecedência do problema. Estrutura antiga sem nenhuma manutenção. Salvo pelo atendimento das meninas da recepção que foram sempre solicitas e empáticas durante todo o período de estadia. Pelo atendimento eu dou 7, mas pela estrutura, 1, deixou muito a desejar. A localização é ótima e a fachada é belíssima!

Não possui água quente. Limpeza duvidosa. Pior café da manhã que vi na vida. Não havia luvas e/ou alcool em gel no local do café. Controle da Tv não funcionava. Ar condicionado não funcionava, passei muito calor.

Agua fria literalmente!

Reserva feita com 1 mes de antecedencia, chegamos a noite, no momenti do checkin fomos informados q nao haveria agua quente pois caldeira queimou ou algo assim e q nem previsao de conserto teriam, hoteis da regiao todos lotados, acabamos ficando aqui mesmo, creio q pela falta de agua quente haveria algum desconto ou cortesia, nao houve, no banheiro mangueira da ducha do chuveiro estava quebrada e soltando as vezes, mas quanto a cama, tv, frigobar, tudo é sim bom, deveriam junto ao sabonete deixarem um sache de shampoo e creme tbm, seria uma boa!
