"It was a nice room. We had a family room that had a king size bed and twin in one room and a twin bed in another room. Also had a small fridge, microwave, table and chairs, and small couch — best part was two bathrooms. The location was awesome, such beautiful shoreline and mountains. Only complaint is breakfast wasn’t included. "

Absolutely Gorgeous Hotel

"We loved this hotel, and the fact that it was nestled away from everything in the area. We were upgraded to an ocean room on-site, the restaurant, while expense, was delicious, the room was comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast had a variety of options and the staff was friendly, too. Our own downside was that the shower was a bit small and had an all-in-one body wash/shampoo. That wouldn't stop us from staying again; we'd just bring our own next time. Out of all of the hotels on our 10-day trip, this one is definitely in our top 3 favorites. "

"Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you!"

Definitely recommend

"This guesthouse was great! There isn’t a check in but you use the lobby phone for the code to get in the room. Works fine. They also answer other misc questions we had on this phone. Rooms are kind of small but big enough, bathroom is shared and there’s two in the hallway but I never saw anyone else. Clean, comfortable and in a great location. Good breakfast with just the right amount of choices. Good coffee. There is an excellent restaurant right across the street. We had a Mountain View with a waterfall. "

Best place we stayed at in Iceland

"After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!"
