There is nothing attractive or interesting about this property, it is located in an industrial place next to the US Air Force facility, no trees, no landscaping, and inside everything was dirty, there was no reception at the time we came in after midnight, there was no elevator to go to the third floor, the floors and walls were dirty. The bed was substandard. The worst part was the digital reception and the inability to talk to a human being.

We only needed one night stay as a layover and it was a perfect location. Quick taxi ride to and from the airport and 100m to a deli/diner for a quick meal. The receptionist was great and very accommodating, allowing us to have a late checkout. Clean and spacious rooms too.

It is a convenient hotel very close to the airport. The outside of the hotel and the hallway are a little run down, but the room was large and clean. The check in process was super efficient with the door code texted to me prior to arrival, so we never had to stop by the front desk.

We were arriving on a midnight flight. The ABC Hotel was conveniently close at a good price. It was basic looking but the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was new and clean. Perfect for a quick one-night layover. The hotel was easy to communicate with before we arrived and sent information to check-in remotely as we were arriving out of office hours.

This is a super convenient property if you are flying out of KEF. It is refurbished military barracks. I remember visiting my brother (Navy officer) here in the 1970s. It was advertised as simple and it is very simple. Be sure to include your email so you can get your check-in information. It was the largest room we had a polar hotels in Iceland, but the bathroom was not very functional as the shower Overflowed and the sink was tiny in a massive bathroom. The staff was awesome. Only two places to eat dinner and the hotel next-door had breakfast. The room did have a refrigerator so going to the Public Deli (restaurant and store near by) for dinner and grabbing food for breakfast was adequate. And it was clean. Staff got us exactly what we needed for a taxi in the morning.

I have never written a bad review but this is a must! This property was disgusting and scary. I should’ve not tried to save $50 and should have chosen another hotel. There were no sheets on the beds, dirty stains on the carpet, moldy shower head, no elevator… to name just a few things. There were drunk people loitering outside the entrance, upon checking in we were given a code to enter the room - which anyone who has that info can use to get in! There was a door stopper in the room as a replacement for the broken door deadbolt lock. Would never recommend this place. The pics are deceiving. Disappointed in Expedia as well.

We really appreciate hotel service. I accidentally booked wrong days and very easily modified without any trouble. We like the location and convenience for airport shuttle. The room is very large and price is so great!

ABC Hotel is one of the barracks buildings on the former U.S. base! Very close to Keflavik airport. The room was clean and quiet. The space around the bed was narrow. The shower floor I found somewhat slippery. The showerhead water flow was great! Overall, I enjoyed the night I stayed there!

The room was smelling weird. I book as I had a long layover in Reykjavik, there wasn't a n option to check in before 3. However after talking to the staff they allowed me in the room which was slightly bellow the standards seen in the photo. The hotel is located in proximity with the airport and that's good part. The price was somehow average but was expecting more for what it cost.

The staff was absolutely incredible. They helped us with everything! The hotel itself is quite basic but perfect if you just need somewhere close to the airport for a night! There is a bus route about 5-10 minute walk from the hotel that connects you to Reykjavik as well

This is an old air force base barracks. It has been updated but dirty, very plain and simple. No cable, no microwave. Very loud, and blinds fdo not block out the sun (no dark in July in Iceland). I felt unsafe here, many people loitering, cops outside and did not leave any of my belongings when I left for dinner.

Hostile like. Looks if you’re on a budget one night will do here, we traveled over Europe for a month so we were looking for cheapest accommodation for the night in Iceland, being an expensive country. But I wouldn’t stay more than that. We read after we were there that this use to be a military barracks and it shows. The floor is cement, no carpet. The walls are PAPERTHIN! We could hear everything; people talking people, running down the halls and worst of all there’s NO elevator! So good luck lugging up your suitcases, which we also heard all night. People slamming their suitcase up each stair. Bring earplugs and sound machine to drown them out.
