Picking up from the airport to the hotel is plus, especially having a midnight flight. Picking up and dropping off the airport are very promising

Pretty bare-bones, but I only needed it for a couple hours to sleep after my flight. Room was small and very simple. Sheets were clean but pretty worn down (could see the mattress through them). The shared bathroom was very clean, though, and there were amenities for breakfast, too. If you’re just looking for a couple hours of rest, or if you’re a very laid back, no-frills backpacker, it’s fine. Reasonably priced for what it is, and considering Icelandic prices.

Great place for a layover. 2.5 miles from the airport we were picked up in the property van and walked back the next day following the foot/cycle path. Walking distance to the excellent local hot spring pools (about 1/2mile and about 7.5 USD admission) Breakfast at the property excellent too. all in all a great experience.

Great bang for the buck
We stayed here the night before our 6 am flight out of Keflavik. Even before arriving, they were very responsive to any inquiries via messaging on Hotels.com. Upon arriving, it was the best, quickest check in ever, while still friendly. The included breakfast starts as early as 3 am, which was great for us since we needed to head to the airport by 4 am. We arranged a 4 am shuttle and they were ready before that time, helping us with our luggage. The airport is less than 10 minutes away so really convenient. Looked up dinner options during our single night, and this place actually has a 5-star rating on some google searches. Unfortunately, we arrived past their closing time during our stay which was 3 pm. Overall, we enjoyed the attentive service of the friendly people in this place.
