We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was phenomenal and went above and beyond, we loved the coffee shop and restaurant/bar on premises, and there is many restaurants, grocery store, and laundry facility within walking distance.

Phone key did not work for the entrance the entire time of our stay. Had to walk to go get a physical key - fine for me, but hard for elderly parents. No option to deliver the key was provided, which is an inconvenience for $700+ per night hotel room. Otherwise, the hotel room itself was great - remember that there is no elevator.

We found the unit to be not particularly clean, with a musty smell. The sheets were coarse with the occasional very small stain. While the listing may have noted that this is a self check in unit with limited parking, we missed these notes and were surprised by both. We secured the last hotel provided parking spot and saw multiple vehicles arrive to find that there were no available parking spots. The route from the parkade to your room appears to run through various storage/network rooms. All in all, we had better hotels in Reykjavik for the same price. Not recommended.

Lovely hotel in Reykjavik, rooms are fairly compact but clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fine, the same every morning, but enough to get you going for the day.
