Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre Tours and Activities

Check in was easy, however our room smelled terrible and the bed and pillows smelled of the previous guests. The pillows overwhelming smell of body odor was so bad we had to put them outside during the night. The quilt smelled and the smell was so intense it would wake us up. We were unable to do anything about because we went to bed late that night. They came and did a room “re-cleaning” but I am at this point doubting it was even cleaned the first day. We literally slept in someone else’s sheets. After the cleaning the second day I attempted to use the yoga mat and it had a huge dirty, crusty brown spot on it. Yes, they replaced when I sent a pic but overall they said they could really not do anything for us because we booked through Expedia. Overall, will not return. The staff was responsive, but offering me a 30% discount for my next stay doesn’t compensate for sleeping in someone else’s filth. We had to have them supply a diffuser to get rid of the smell on the room even after their “re-clean”.

Delightful 2 bedroom condo. Had the kitchen and bath supplies needed for a pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and had bear spray for us to take on our hikes. Underground parking a plus!

The reception staff was friendly, competent and helpful. The room was spacious enough and well-equipped. However, the room was horribly overheated, impossible to sleep in and no thermostat to regulate the temperature. The TV did not work properly got stuck halfway through a hockey game😱 A railway track runs by the hotel and kept us up all night, no way to sleep. From 5 am on the hotel became very loud and noisy, the room above us ran a marathon in the room, others come in and out of their respective rooms, a truck idled in front of our window for 40 min and it all sounded as if it happened right in our room. Then again...what can you expect for $$$$$ a night...Will never return to that property !!!!
