"I immediately loved the history of this lodge. It's what drew me in, I travel with a 7 year old who is particular about staying on the second level, but I convinced him to enjoy a 1st level accommodation. We LOVED it here. The mid-century modern renovation was great. The shower was clean, modern and HOT. We gave the front desk person a run for their money when we accidentally locked ourselves out after first checking in. He was kind and joked about it the whole time. Its family friendly and we slept very well. We will absolutely be staying here again as we only live about 2 hours away and love a quick coast getaway. "

The rooms were very nice, the service was great, the breakfast was yummy, the pool and exercise facilities were immaculate and well-serviced. And a big plus, we were able to bring our dog on this Redwoods trip!"
