"Ive been staying at the Lighthouse since Middle School with my grandparents and mom. I have been bring my kiddos now 20 and 18 every year. Location is perfect, piers are well taken care of and easy to access. Cleanest beach in Texas is 10 minutes down the road, or an hour with the ferry ride your in Port A, depending on the time of year of course. My 18 year old son and daughter when we had decided the weekend to book, first response was "I cant wait to get a waffle." Texas shaped waffles on thier very well supplied breakfast - see the core memories developed at the Lighthouse Inn! Its just a good place, slow and quiet community, which is what we enjoy. "

"Family trip! Hotel is in an excellent location with numerous restaurants and stores around it. You are 30 min from whitecap beach and your fishing charter. You are also 15 minutes away from Lexington and Aquarium. The only thing is the hotel is being renovated. The rooms are very nice and beds comfortable but some of the hotel rooms on first floor and fitness room still were still under construction. That being said it’s worth the price. The breakfast was very good but the lobby the clerk said weekend of the 9th will be under construction just FYI! Also the staff were very accommodating!"
