Sitting on one of the most spacious lots on Bay Shore Drive, Poppy’s Paradise has ample space for families and friends (sleeps 18 comfortably) and offers more amenities than any other rental in Key Allegro! The house is also perfect for smaller groups who may not need all the beds, but who want to enjoy the fantastic amenities!

We’re conducting major renovations from December to March to add even more amazing amenities, including a private pool, hot tub, new outdoor kitchen, grills, and a new lounge area with plenty of couches, swings, tables, sun chairs and more! We’re also adding a new dock all along the bulkhead and a upgraded rooftop deck for your viewing pleasure.   
  
Other amenities include an updated bunkroom suitable for kids or adults, and new toys like Arcade gaming consoles, X-Box 360, and more AS WELL AS A SIX-SEATER EVOLUTION GOLF CART AVAILABLE ON-SITE FOR RENT. Our guests will also enjoy our new living room layout, upgraded appliances, a Hoshizaki Ice Maker, and a welcome package from the Owners.  
  
By the time we’re done, we hope you agree we’ve accomplished our goal, which is to make Poppy’s Paradise one of the Best Vacation Rentals in Rockport!

The property exceeded our expectations in both aesthetics and condition. It was impeccably maintained, offering a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our stay. The homeowners demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout the entire experience. They were highly responsive to all inquiries, provided timely and helpful communication, and proactively checked in on multiple occasions to ensure that every aspect of the accommodation met our needs and preferences. Their attentiveness and professionalism contributed significantly to the overall quality of our visit. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would enthusiastically choose this property again for future trips.

This property was amazing, from the sunrise/sunset deck to the size if the property. There were 14 of us and lots of space throughout the house and outdoors. Each room had such a wonderful beachy feel to it. Great weekend!!

This property was amazing! It accommodated our entire family as we celebrated a milestone birthday at my brother-in-law! The property had everything we needed plus more! All of the kayaks, paddle boards and other water items were a bonus. We will definitely come again.

Over all, the house was large enough for 3 families. Close to beach, ocean views are beautiful so giving it a 3, but it needs some work to say the least! cons: the house is old so very out dated. We had large families and cooked every night. The stove only has 2 working burners, and 1 of those 2 didnt get very hot. My husband had to fix the other one to make it work. The basic appliances were horrible ( dont try using the can opener, not possible!) There we ants in every nook and cranny of the house. All over the bathroom and kitchen counters. The microwave was old so even trying to just warm things up took a massive amount of time. There were huge holes in the walls with pictures to cover them upWe contacted the host a few days prior that we would have a registered support animal as a courtesy and was told we needed to call to figure that out because they dont allow pets because of the cleaning fees they incur. Understand animals are not accepted, but again this is a registered support dog for medical reasons. We didnt call to discuss because were mind blown to get that response.Downstairs: The lights (floresent lights!!) Were on the same switch as the fans. To turn the fan on the bright light HAD TO STAT ON. Its Texas, its HOT! Creepy part...there is a room with a lock, that didnt lock. Opened the door to find a TV showing multiple recordings of the cameras around the house!!! Understand its for security, but this was creepy!Unfortunately, we wont be going back

We were there for the Humane Society Spring fundraiser as part of the decorating committee. The house was perfect as a work space and as a relaxing reward. Wonderful for coffee in the morning out on the deck and a glass of wine in the evening. Even though we were working, we were able to have fun as well!

#### Family Christmas 

Our family group of 8 had a fantastic stay at this property. There was plenty of sleeping and bath space and multiple gathering areas both indoors and outdoors. We especially enjoyed the downstairs deck area where we watched football, played cornhole, fished, crabbed, kayaked, paddle boarded, and enjoyed cocktails every evening. Dinners on the upper deck were amazing with more than enough tables and chairs and easy access to the kitchen. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The upper observation deck offered amazing views and photo opportunities. The area is walkable and close to shopping and recreation. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

#### Family Memorial Luncheon Weekend

This property was perfect for our purposes. We needed a place to gather for a lunch for my Dad who passed away a few months back. He preferred we have a small reunion and lunch with family instead of a funeral. This place was perfect. Comfortable and cozy for our get together. We stayed two nights. #### Jinny’s Weekend

A get together for our family to share our Jinny’s love for family, cooking, the ocean and fishing . Our group of 13 ages ranged from 77 to 8 and our stay was wonderful. The paddle boards kayaks and Lilly pad were a hit and not just for the kids. The kitchen and main living area was just what we needed for gatherings and cooking with the Beautiful bay view. The outdoor living area was perfect as well and we hung out and grilled while some fished and watched the outside TV or played in the water. I am a runner and enjoyed this peaceful and beautiful area along the bay during my morning jog. Everyone enjoyed our stay!

#### Another 5 Star Stay!

We had another incredible stay. This time over the 4th of July. Watched the awesome Wendell Family fireworks from the roof top deck! This house will not disappoint! Incredibly clean, and owners were once again very responsive to any questions we had come up. The floor plan is perfect for the big kids to have the downstairs and the adults get the upstairs. They also provide plenty of alternative activities, if you need a break from the outdoors or maybe forced to come in inside due to weatherThanks again!!!!

This house was nothing short of amazing! Kitchen had everything we needed, outdoors had great water activities along with beautiful views and plenty of seating! My wife and I have 3 sons who are married. Two of them have children for a total of 6 ranging from infant to 10 yrs old. There was plenty of room. We cooked in the kitchen that was supplied with all necessary utensils plus. The kayaks and all swimming gear needed to swim in the canal for the kids (and some adults), an outdoor tv under the upper deck made the stay memorable. Would definitely stay there again. We ALL had a great stay.

#### A wonderful place to stay!

The place was clean, spacious, well decorated, convenient to beach, fishing, kayaking and local restaurants. We had plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was awesome to cook in. We could fish, kayak and paddle board all from the back deck. It was a lovely getaway. A perfect place to relax from the stress of normal life. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. We were a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The property itself is stunning with amazing views.
