"The hotel is close to the airport about a 10 min ride door to door. The rooms are spacious. I would only ask that complimentary water be given in the rooms. Breakfast is complimentary after 6 am. For early morning flights they do offer a snack bag to go. I have stayed here a few times. There was a maintenance issue o the elevator so had to walk up with luggage. But overall I would stay again. The staff is friendly."

"The location of the hotel was fantastic! Pile Place Market is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Park Place Market has an extraordinary number of food choices and vendors selling numerous items. The Pike Place waterfront also includes the Seattle Acquarium, a park area and waterfront walking trails for strolling. There are a number of very good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, as well as the shopping mall Pacific Place that has an AMC movie theatre and food and shopping, with a sky bridge that leads to Nieman Marcus. Also, the same block where the hotel is located contains the monorail that leads directly to the Seattle Center where the Space Needle and Museum of Pop Culture (aka Jimmy Hendrix museum) are located. Also, the light rail that leads to the airport (SeaTac) is on the same block (only $3 to the airport). Finally, the hotel is clean and beautifully preserved (it will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. The rooms are cleaned daily and coffee and water bottles are replenished daily. In conclusion, I am looking forward to a return trip to the Mayflower Hotel and Seattle!"

"One of the two rooms we rented had a back flow of plumbing waste around the tub/shower drain. Night clerk acknowledged the problem but offered no remedy. Day clerk said the problem was being fix and there was a plumbing truck outside. Day clerk and swing clerk were most helpful in getting taxis when needed. Overall, I would return."
