"Cozy cabin and clean. The beds were clean and so comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. Wonderful little fishing dock and our son caught over 15 fish of various kinds and sizes. Huge variety of birds for birding and photography enthusiasts. The cabin is a perfect location for visiting many historical sites in the Richmond and Petersburg areas. Loved our stay!"

"Beautiful scenery, warm comfortable cabin, fantastic host. Really enjoyed our stay celebrating our 20th anniversary. Also highly recommend South Hill just fifteen minutes away. Great shopping and dining experience. "

"The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. Our POC for the house, Megan, was soo accommodating. The wedding date shifted by 2 months when the military had other plans for her fiancé, and we were allowed to shift our reservation without extra cost. Then we wanted to come in a day early to get ready, so she let us add a day. At the end the wedding wrap up ended late and we asked for late check out, which she again granted. It was a wonderful stay and I'd stay here again, but maybe without the pressures of wedding next time."

"Very nice facility. I would have liked a television in each bedroom, and ceiling fans vs chandeliers. Shower curtain and tub mat in upstairs bathroom need a good cleaning. Overall, we truly enjoy our stay. A bunch ofsenoirs! "
