"Service at this hotel was excellent! Staff were pleasant and helpful and everything was taken care of - from the robe and slippers to the flat rate airport transportation. Location was excellent - reasonable walk to the city centre but far enough away to be quiet. For those looking for cooking facilities, the kitchen was well equipped. Loved this hotel!"

"The room was a loft and it was clean and quiet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Ivan was extra helpful and getting everything arranged. Simple and efficient hotel. A couple of things to be aware of: there are steps up into the main area of the room, along with stairs up to the loft. Loved the bikes!!! They really make it easy to get around and enjoy the city. Easy! A few things that could have been better : The air conditioner struggled to cool the room down. It felt as if it was low on refrigerant. They sent maintenance to assess; but there wasn't much difference. The room heats up in the late afternoon. They offered to move me to another room - but since i was checking out the following morning, i declined as it would have been a lot more work to pack, unpack and head out in the early am. I opened the windows and it cooled down upstairs. Lastly- the windows REALLY need to be cleaned. A cool view but dirt, moss, etc on the windows takes away from it all."

"Very nice location. Much larger hotel than I had expected, had multiple people for reception and even had concierge. Note that it does have various little stairs up and down to get to some of the rooms but it is the nature of having joined up so many houses to make the hotel. Has two restaurants, a full-service restaurant and then a smaller one which we ate at a few times. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Amsterdam."

"This hotel was in the most lovely neighbourhood, surrounded by cute shops and cafes, and right near the most scenic bridges and canal views. The restaurant underneath the hotel was amazing, I had such a wonderful meal there! All of the staff at Hotel Callisto were so kind, friendly and lovely. I loved my stay so much!"
