The best area to stay in Quimbaya is within the rural countryside surrounding the town, particularly in the coffee fincas (coffee farms) that dot the landscape.

This region is characterised by rolling hills covered in coffee plants, banana trees, and lush tropical flora. Many fincas are working farms that have converted part of their property into comfortable guesthouses, offering a unique opportunity to experience the coffee-growing process firsthand. You'll often find these fincas a short drive from Quimbaya town centre, providing a peaceful retreat.

Couples looking for a romantic and distinctive getaway will find these fincas ideal. They offer privacy, beautiful views, and often activities like coffee tours, birdwatching, and horse riding through the plantations. Many fincas feature amenities such as swimming pools, spacious outdoor areas, and farm-to-table dining experiences with local ingredients.

Families travelling with older children will also appreciate staying at a finca. The open spaces and farm activities provide entertainment and educational opportunities, allowing children to learn about coffee production and local wildlife in a relaxed setting.
