Beautiful view

Posted 3-May-2016
This hotel has an amazing view of the ocean and jungle. We saw toucans, monkeys, and lizards on the property which was fun.Our two children loved the waterslide and pool! We enjoyed having drinks and food available while our children played. There were great tours available. And an amazing breakfast. There was so much to see we wished we could have stayed longer.

Not expected

Posted 7-Apr-2016
The rooms never locked. Food was very good but the bathrooms were sweltering hot because they had no air and the Windows had big gaps and holes to outside. You could see the cracks in suite door to outside. Thank goodness it wasn't insect season.

Clean, Comfortable near Manuel Antonio National Pa

Posted 5-Mar-2016
The hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. The decor did appear dated and could benefit from some capital upgrades. The hotel is not on the beach, like some may think (even though you can see the beach from the resort property). A bit of entertainment would be nice, particularly in the evening. I would recommend as a comfortable, clean option for access to Manuel Antonio National Park.

Beautiful hotel, however, unfriendly staff made our stay a bit of a downer.

Nice quiet resort with good views

Posted 15-Nov-2015
Pros: Adult pool, cinema, location
Cons: Some of equipment (loungers tired). Lock broken on patio door and went unfixed for 4 days, more umbrellas
Location: National Park beautiful. Beaches good swimming.
Nice property situated only 5 minute by regular free shuttle from National Park entrance. Walking distance to a number of nearby restaurants (2 onsite). Adults pool a bonus and also an I house cinema that screens recent (last 12 month movies in English/Spanish with subtitles as necessary). Rooms basic (noTv) but comfortable with good air and fans. Very friendly and relaxed staff. Very much 3.5 star but dry comfortable. Transfers from airport efficient and beach service great for visiting the park or a late afternoon swim. Watch monkeys at breakfast!

Pleasant days in Manuel Antonio

Posted 3-Jul-2015
The hotel is a 3.5 stars, not a 4.5 as advertised. The check-in was very quick, the room was ready even though we arrived earlier. The entire hotel could use some reno and scrubbing. The room was outdated, the linens didn't have the fresh feeling even though i could tell they were clean, the shower could use a really good scrub, and the bathroom door made terrible noise. However, the ocean view was amazing and it made up for the other inconveniences. The hotel is very conveniently located: 5 min drive to the main beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, 5 min driving to the secluded Playa Biesanz, and walking distance to great restaurants (Emilio's Cafe, Cafe Milagro, Vila Nicollas, etc).

Cons: Our room smelleded of mold, very strong for me.
Location: Great location, close to wonderful restaurants. Manuel Antonio was a short drive.
Charming setting, lots of stairs to room and to pool and restaurant. The view was spectacular, pools great, restaurant below was very nice for breakfast. The butterfly sanctuary across the street was amazing, somewhat of a spiritual experience for me. The restaurant next door affiliated with Si Como No was wonderful!
