Relax and watch the 110-year-old vintage steamship travel across the lake, just postcard perfect! Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors maximise the superb location and the stunning lake and mountain views. LOCATION: The elevated location provides the most spectacular views, while being just a 13-minute walk down the hill to Queenstown\`s energetic town centre. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: The Master bedroom with ensuite including a separate jetted tub, along with Bedrooms 2 and 3 and a shared bathroom are located on the upper level. There is a lake facing balcony on this level, accessible from the Master and Bedroom 2, which both boast sensational views of Lake Wakatipu and the many mountain peaks. We had 3 couples and a one year old and the facilities were all there. We stayed 10 nights and it was good to have a few home cooked meals instead of trying to find somewhere to eat every night ( which can be difficult). The property is elevated and we drove in and out of town (literally 2 minutes) but there are plenty of places to park in the city fringes. Alternatively an $8 can. I've been to Queenstown many times and the best accommodation I've been in, ideal for 6-8 people. Margaret and the team are friendly on call and available anytime. I rarely write reviews unless they are really good or really bad. Our property manager was very friendly. Communication was excellent and the property ticked all the boxes for a adult / teenage ski family. We have been coming to Queenstown every July for 10 years typically staying at an apartment hotel but this was awesome.
